The Base Model
I just answered an email where someone said I feel like I don’t deserve him because he’s too good - doesn’t cheat, smoke, drink, my friends say he’s like one in a million. It inspired me to write this post. I’m not going to address the “I don’t feel like I deserve him” piece because that’s something that needs to be processed. But someone who doesn’t cheat, smoke, drink, and friends saying he’s great is the base model. That’s standard. From there, you’re gonna want options, leather, cruise control, a sports package?
I think many buy because it’s sounds like a good deal. It looks good on paper, everything makes sense. Or the salesman is really good at his job. But if you do this, there’s a high chance you may have buyer’s remorse. I don’t know about you but when I buy a car, it has to make me feel a certain way. I have to have a connection with it. Then I want a kick ass stereo, racing rims, a sunroof, and the list goes on and on. Maybe you can’t afford options? Your budget being what you believe you are worth. Then instead of dropping your savings on a base model, save up - work on your self esteem, your mind, your body, your purpose, your life, and purchase something that’s fucking loaded so you have a shit eating grin plastered on your face while you’re hugging corners at 80!
